Boss just called an un scheduled meeting. That's never good, right?
Usually not. Although there is this new management school of thought that says it's good for bosses to randomly give all their employees fudge....

There's a drip pan in ovens? Huh.
For offices with crazy fluorescent lights, they make these... Film-like? Covers you can put between the bulb and the cover. They come in different colors and patterns. A coffee shop near here has some space-themed ones that are very pretty.
In my office, I face the wall of windows that looks out over the valley. It contributes to the glare, but I'm not giving up that view.
Layoffs, including the only non-writer person on our team. I almost want to fling myself on the sword and tell them to let me go instead.
I'm sorry, Dana.
When I type as I think, then go back and read what I wrote later, I find that I am skipping whole words which are fairly important to the sentences I am typing.
WS, I do the same thing. And almost every time I leave a word out, it's a "negating" word. Like, I'll leave out a "not" or a "don't". I have no idea why. I have to proofread everything I write to make sure I haven't left out a word that radically changes the meaning.
Why aren't drip pans coated in Teflon?
My office - open plan, of course - has huge windows that face south. I spend much of my time wearing yellow tinted glasses ... which I can't see particularly well in, so I have to take them off when I need to see fine details. Of course, we're not allowed to close the blinds ... that would make the office look messy, since all the other ones are open.
I pray for rain ... or at least clouds.
I think I may actually be sick. The head ache this weekend I though was all wind and weather related, but I have had drippy nose and sneezing for 2 days. Yesterday I took a cd and sinus med, today I took allergy meds, I think Genoese is actually better today, but my whole body feels tired and I have almost started crying multiple times. And now chills, just randomly every few minutes.
Oh ugh, Dana.
That does sound sick, msbelle.
