'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I clearly have missed out on the Tumblr bus.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've been wondering how to work tumblr without having a phone that does that sort of thing. How does it work with feedly? How do I connect them?

Connie, you can add individual tumblr blogs to feedly pretty easily. Most tumblr addresses look like mine [used for example--I mostly reblog and don't put up much original content so it may not be worth adding]: [link]

In the upper right hand corner of your Feedly page, paste the url of the tumblr you'd like to follow into the box that's labled "search or add feed". Then go through the usual process of adding a blog feed to your feedly. You probably won't be able to reblog or "like" individual tumblr posts this way, but you will be able to follow the postings.

Rainy morning. I'm off to have the car serviced and the dog tortured. (You run away from the brush, you get the Furminator.)

Luckily just unsightly not painful.

It may only be 75 out, but it is gawdawful humid. I'm a sweaty mess.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Brought the car for emissions inspection this morning. It passed. Let's see if it's still around in two years for the next inspection.(2000 Corolla with almost 111,000 miles on it)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We are practically car twins, Sheryl! Mine is a 2001 with about 140k, although I put a new engine in it 4 years ago so I'm expecting it to keep plugging along for a while longer.

I carefully made no plans for today except to sleep in. Managed to stay in bed and dozing until about 6:30, I guess that will have to do.

Oh, nice: I thought I only had one serving of iced soy latte left in the fridge but I had 3! Now two.

Rabbit update: I have decided that the one with the blue dye is Lucy, she's a bit more aggressive than the other (Ethel) (although they are both pretty aggressive when it comes to fresh greens, Ethel seems slightly more likely to hide in the hutch) and she has a bit more of a "mane" from their Lionhead ancestry so maybe I will be able to keep them straight once the dye wears off completely.

OK: on the one hand, don't ever inform my younger self that I got up at 7AM on a Saturday to go running, because it would be too hot later. On the other hand, don't tell my future self that I only managed to do half a mile because I was breathing like a pug and sweating like a sweaty thing.

And part of the point was to decide which pair of shoes I liked better for running, and I can't decide. I really shouldn't keep both of them--expensive! Next weekend I'm doing a running form training (since I suspect I have no form, certainly no good one) so maybe that will help me decide.

Now I need to shower and head over to the place I had PLANNED to run, for a running gear sample sale. Which I might not be so into but my ex-roommate wants me to go and buy things for her. I'd thought "then I'll be right next to Greenlake, I can run then!" but it'll be 85 by then. Ew.
