I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, that sounds really good and easy, Sail. Thanks!

I overbought take-and-bake goodies for today. This might require postponing the return of the low carb diet a little longer until I get it all eaten up...

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just put a top a petite sirloin roast in the crock pot. I've never used this cut, is it tasty or tough?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Dreaming Cow, check. Those other two flavors sound awesome, too. I miss the little Chobani Bites flavors I used to be able to find; they had a Fig and Orange Zest that I loved and I'm looking for something to replace them.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh man. FB concern troll anti-vax friend is now posting links to the Food Babe. I can't decide whether to hide his posts or keep hate-reading them. He's so smart, I can't believe he's gotten pulled into this bullshit.

I always have to look up cuts of beef, and I have the feeling that the names keep changing, but I am pretty sure I had a sirloin roast not long ago that was not remotely tough, so I'm gonna say tasty.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

FB is making me laugh. "Oh I see, Chicago: when you said a foot of snow, what you meant was A FOOT OF SNOW."

It's a crock pot kind of day. I've got curried chicken going. I need to do laundry but I'm currently becatted.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hide posts Steph. or at least choose to see less of them.

I feel like week old ass from the neck up. Neck down, fine. My house is a mess and month end close is tomorrow so I have to go to work. blearg.

I am just going to try and do some to make me feel better about the house and try my best to avoid a shame spiral about it. Thus far:

1 load laundry in
my bedding on air fluff in dryer to de-cat hair before washing
kitchen floor swept
dishes washed
recycling out of kitchen
stray dishes gathered and in dishwasher

now break

I've got 2.5 hours before the Super Bowl starts. I will watch, but I don't care about it, so do I run out to grocery store now? or wait right before kickoff?

I have started a load of laundry. I should gather up whatever else I want to wash in the next hour or so, I guess.

No one told me Gina Torres is on Revenge now.

maybe I skip the grocery altogether and wither order wings or pizza or both and deal for the rest with what I have in the house?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does anyone know where/how/if Puppy Bowl is streaming online anywhere? I got the kids all amped up for it and then forgot we don't have cable anymore!

Animal Planet's site has a clip reel that's about 70% ads, and a "backstage" livecam with no audio. Hulu just has clips.
