Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This person keeps pulling out examples of vaccinated people who got the disease as "proof" that vaccines don't work. I already tried statistics -- if 95% of the population is vaccinated, and 97% of vaccinated people are immune, then you'd expected about 36% of the people who get the disease to be people who were vaccinated -- but she didn't respond to that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am super excited to have nachos and guacamole while I don't watch the game today! Our avocados were on sale this week, so that's nice.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, Hil. You and your "math."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just got a recipe for an avocado soup and am FRANTIC for these rocks on my counter to soften up so I camake it.

Yet again, Cass, [link]

You could save avocados and share them with all the world.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, Hil. You and your "math."

Panic > Math, especially when Panic is comprised of Willful Ignorance and/or Stupid.

Our wings are not tired.

And now I want avocado and have none. Sigh. The last time I went to the market they were way too ripe so I passed.

I have to get my act together and head to the parental units before Super Bowl time. It is conflicting for me because I like to watch with my DH and boys, but my cousin is visiting from Ohio tomorrow and I really want to see her, but to do so I need to either go today or super early tomorrow. Mondays I have to be at my computer to avert crisis and can't be travelling cross state.

I know that the volume of the football event will be about 10% at Mom's than it will be in my house with 5 super loud opinionated men watching. They also will be eating all kinds of disgusting stuff that I either don't eat, or don't want to eat. So football with my quiet parents and sibs it is. Actually, I may be able to hear the guys at my house even over 100 miles away.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I scrambled eggs with TJ's Hatch Chile Salsa and tumbled half a chopped avocado in near the end.

Oh, nom!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Mmm, avocado!

Cass! There is a new TJs product that has your name all over it! On Friday my TJs was giving out samples of their new Roasted Tomatillo Salsa. It's in the refrigerated section. So good. Since I was making ground turkey tacos that night anyway I bought some to go with. DH just about finished off the tub then and there.

PS it pairs well with avocado

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Uh-huh, sounds like somebody is in the pocket of Big Stats...

Just remember that when you are arguing with a fact-denier on the interwebs, you aren't really trying to change their mind, you're trying to prevent any undecided people reading the conversation from being persuaded to their POV.
