We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Picturesque light snow here, big fluffy flakes, only about 2 inches accumulation.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am trying really hard to resist engaging with an anti-vaxxer. It's not going so well.

How is this possible? Wait, I totally support you. And will eat all avocado presented to you. For *your* sake.

Suppose the benadryl fails? *I* will eat all the avocado, for BOTH your sakes! (Avocado on eggs = SO GOOD. Avocado *in* egg salad = game changer.)

We're supposed to get another foot tomorrow but nothing today so far.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

They had enormous avocados at the market yesterday. Like, you could play football with them. I got one of the the slightly smaller (but still bigger than a softball) ones.

I am trying really hard to resist engaging with an anti-vaxxer. It's not going so well.

Ugh. My FB feed has several posts/links that are critical of anti-vaxxers, and then interspersed with them is a link from my one anti-vaxxer/concern troll FB friend to an article titled (I'm paraphrasing) "Should we round up all the anti-vaxxer parents and send them to Guantanamo?"

I wanted to just comment "YES." I didn't, though. FB friend made sure to comment that the article is "a nuanced view" of how "countless side effects are downplayed" and "vaccines aren't proven to protect every patient."

This person is ridiculously smart, and has totally been sucked into the anti-vaxxer movement by his wife, who is anti-meds, anti-Western medicine, and anti-vaccines, because she is the primary caregiver for her nephew with autism. They have 1 kid of their own, who I assume was vaccinated, because he attends public schools, but I don't actually know, because I don't want to ask if they got a wingnut waiver.

Anyway, every time he posts, I want to punch the screen.

What I do is 1 avocado for every 4 eggs, and I mash up about half the avocado and then dice the other half of the avocado. Mashing part of it means I use less mayo. SO GOOD OMG. Especially with a nice big slice of tomato.

Now I'm hungry and want avocado, but there is no way I'm going anywhere near the market today. Between the superb owl and the upcoming storm, I'm guessing it is crazy there.

We shopped yesterday, and I thought we'd have to resort to black magic to get a parking space at TJs. I do miss working in the same part of town as TJs, when I could run over there at, say, 2 on a weekday, when it was sparsely populated. Saturdays are bonkers.
