I really wish I could get into a credit union, but the ones around here are for public employees.
Take a look at City National bank. It's not the one I use, but I have friends in Los Angeles who use them and love them. It's another small bank that has very personal service. I'd recommend American West which is my current bank, but it doesn't look like they have any branches in your area.

I am currently dissassembling a large purse to reassemble as Rocket's vest. I think I will also be sacrificing a pair of pleather pants (that don't fit me) to the cause, and there will be lots of duct tape involved, because I don't sew. I have so much to do. Ack. Ack. Ack.

Ok, that wind is fucking brutal. Even driving, the brief exposure was such that my eyes were watering in sinus pain. And that's with 2 layers+ hat+2hoods+scarf+down coat. I have no idea how the vendors survive it. I thanked them profusely.
