'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oh, I have to go dig out the car now. I so don't want to, but the wind has dropped at last and it's getting light enough to see.

I have all the necessary cold weather gear to keep me comfy while I do it, but it's going to be a pain and a quarter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man -- My excellent plan of subway + walking was thwarted by a disabled train somewhere. Well, not thwarted, but delayed. I waited 45 minutes for the subway! And to add insult to injury, my officemate drove by me on my way to the station, but did not see me.

Thank you!

Car mostly unsnowified -- it needs a good brushing, but the proof-of-concept moving out of the space was achieved. Now I'm conflicted as to whether leaves something space-saverish in the empty slot. Tragedy of the commons, it is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Somehow managed to leave my phone at home. Can I make it through the whole day without driving back to get it? We'll see.

brillig

I think I'm going to be buying a new fridge this weekend. The one I have is old and glaciated and the compressor sounds wonky. I don't need a big one, and I saw one in a size I like at Home Depot.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Now I'm conflicted as to whether leaves something space-saverish in the empty slot.

Dibs! We haven't had a big enough snow here yet to get people started on dibs.

Oh yeah, I think even in Somerville, a beach chair or similar is called for when there is this much snow!

I am so glad I came in to the office! I'm still not getting shit done, but at least I get full credit for the day....
