I respond to my first name, my first name and middle name, or the initials I use here. Anything else won't get you a response at all.

I will get called Andrew occasionally since it's my legal name and is one official documents. It's also what I went by all through high school and into college, so really old friends will sometimes call me Andrew. The one that I've never been, and won't answer to is Andy. Nope, not gonna happen. Drew is my name, Andrew is you don't know better, but there has never been a time or place where I am an Andy.
Suzi, yes. A student. And to make it .... something.... it was an internet proxy marriage overseen by an imam in Bangladesh.
If someone tries to call me Sue - they are immediately corrected. There is one person in the world who can call me that and she is my childhood friend and I haven't seen her in years.
Ha! Similarly, Susie is the one diminutive of my name that I cannot bear. My full name is Susan, but I go by Sue because I was named after a Sue. (It was my brother's grade 2 crush.)
And to make it .... something.... it was an internet proxy marriage overseen by an imam in Bangladesh.
Yikes!
Is she being expected to go home and, um, take up her duties?
May I use this as a tag line?
Certainly!

Wow. Arranged marriage?
Oh, and on the name front, my sister answers happily to Rebecca or Becca, but there has been exactly one person in her life who didn't get chewed out for calling her Becky. I don't know a lot of Beckys, come to think of it.
Susie is the one diminutive of my name that I cannot bear.
If I think someone is calling me Susie versus Suzi...it bugs on a level I can't even explain. I can't stand Susie. It actually more closely sounds like Sus-san, but if I'm not Sus-san, I'm Suzi, mind the Z.
In high school, I did go by Fred within my group of friends for a while (there was another Susie in the group - hey maybe that is where my pickiness comes from).
Post high school I went by Lexi when we went out. Susie was still part of our group and Fred wasn't the best name to go by when meeting guys.
