Oh my god, Becky!

Friday jury duty does not seem right.

I picked up breakfast at Panera this morning to eat my desk. It is delicious, but I don't know how people eat breakfast at work as a regular thin. It is exponentially harder that eating lunch at my desk.

She has, like, negative tact. I swear to god. Negative tact and not a clue. I love her, but wow.

I saw that and thought, dang, MY mom would do that, too. Like, she's just stating a fact...that happens to be insulting to someone standing right there. But it's JUST A FACT! Lots of people don't feel that way, so it's okay!

My mom would totally do that. (Actually, I have an aunt who does that on the regular. I'll post a picture after a haircut and she'll comment with "I liked your hair longer." OKAY THEN.)

When I had jury a couple of years ago it was Friday, February 14. I got a lot of reading done that day.

Ugh, Plei. Tone deaf. I'm sorry the family is riding the tactless wave this week.

Becky? Oh hell no. msbelle, you may be the nicest, but I'm not. I know people. You want that the offender should disappear?

My first thought as well. Why would you ever shorten someone's name without knowing that they went by that nickname? Especially in a business setting.

Plei, ugh. I'm sorry your family is being so difficult this week.

Oh my goodness, Plei, I just came across that. Since it isn't my mother, it kind of made me giggle, but I imagine it is not funny if it is your mother.

I've never had to say "please don't call me Tommy" to anyone more than once. Maybe they can sense the rage right below the surface.
