I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

This afternoon I swapped out my old sofa slipcovers for new ones I bought (yay! no more dingy cat urine scented off-white sofa!), vacuumed, and did a load of laundry. My living room is actually suitable for human company at the moment.

After Galavant is over I'll clean out the litterboxes, take out trash, and do dishes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Some days (only some days!) I miss being unemployed...

I spent a few minutes today wishing I didn't have to work tomorrow then realizing that, oh, having a job is good.

Also Girl Scouts were selling cookies door to door today. Beats the hell out of leaving them in Kat's freezer forever. According to my tummy. Peanut butter patties are yum.

So basically I need my job to buy puppy kibble and cookies.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I sat around most of the day and then sorting laundry just made me so tired and dizzy, I had to sit down again. I dislike this cold.

I had my roommate rent a zip van, and we drove across on the ferry to Bainbridge and over to my ex-coworker's house, where I got a super nice table (which has a fancy built-in leaf) and six chairs, and then we managed to be Strong Women and get it into my house on our own. And then my ex-roommate came back (she's in town this weekend, and is now stuck here until Thursday because her flight to NY got canceled tomorrow...sadly, I'm leaving for a work trip tomorrow), and we went on a walk because it is GORGEOUS out here.

And my arms hurt from all that carrying. I probably should go to the gym more.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yipes Tom, that's a lot of snow!

I unfucked up my back in the pool, but another round of hauling boxes and its fucked up again. Crawling. Movers are doing their thing, nothing left for me but to be in the way, so I'm home, waiting until they are done to come over and crash.

For their sake, I really hope they get out ahead of the worst of the storm. They're driving a 26' truck, towing her car on a platform.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Meep! sarameg, that sounds like a scary drive. Sorry your back is re-fucked up; they are such bothersome and persnickety body parts.

meara, I saw the pictures. A gorgeous table, indeed.

I hope the storm isn't as bad as they are predicting. Stay safe, everyone!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

NY can blame my employer for the impending storm. We're loading The Iceman Cometh into BAM this week.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hey smonster, & anyone else who has experience with SI belts, what kind of tightness should I be going for? This query brought to you by my SI belt, which giveth me relief from my stupid compressed rolling hip etc but taketh away any loveliness of an hourglass profile.

meara, I saw the pictures. A gorgeous table, indeed.

It's very nice! And heavy as hell. She gave it to me for free, and I figure even with the like, $30 that the ferry cost, plus the $70 or so that the zipvan cost, it's still less than I would've paid for it on Craigslist or something. And I'd been meaning to get rid of my dining room table for ages, but since it was totally functional, just not the color/style I liked, it was way down on my list. And now I'm like "ooh. I should get an entry mirror, and maybe a corkboard or dry erase, and and like, DECORATE..."
