Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ah and he just came to tell me "I hate it when you are right".

ya think? kiddo. (I did not say that).

That's as close to an "I'm sorry" as I am going to get.

I may have to seize the cat.

Side note to anyone who wants to have her or his thyroid function tested: don't let them get away with only running the TSH. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone comes from the pituitary gland. Make them run the T3 and T4 as well. TSH is only useful if your pituitary gland is callibrated correctly. If you never get the direct measurements, you don't know whether the pituary gland knows what it is talking about.

This, but also insist on the antithyroid antibodies tests. When I visited an endocrinologist in 2002, this was the one test she didn't do. When I finally learned to ask for it in 2011, it was the only one that showed I had a problem that wasn't all in my head.

Speaking of, I'm going to the doctor Monday to request a dosage increase. So hopeful it will increase my energy and reduce my joint pain.

Positive wishes to all.

ETA: Localistas, I'll be at the Durham Central Park Food Truck Rodeo tomorrow, 12:30ish to 1:45ish, if anyone is going to be there and wants to say hello. I'll look just like I did at the Angel Finale party, except 40 lbs heavier and with glasses.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ah and he just came to tell me "I hate it when you are right".

Classic!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

ah and he just came to tell me "I hate it when you are right".

TOTALLY THE BEST MOM.

Matilda's fever is hovering around 102; her forehead just cooled way down but all the heat seems to have rushed to her hands, which could practically scorch you. We're watching a little Spirited Away and then she'll head into a tepid tub for a bit.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

he just came to tell me "I hate it when you are right".

Perfect.

Poor Matilda. JZ, have you tried Tylenol? It's a better fever reducer than Advil. Disclaimer, I am neither a doctor nor a parent.

I have a fashion question! I want to wear a tuxedo, but all the tuxedos I've seen for women seem to be cut for small breasts. I have DDs. Is there a tuxedo, or something like a tuxedo, for women with big boobs?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Be cool, Matilda. Also, chill out, hon. Stop worrying your adults.

Zen (I love knowing someone I can call Zen!), that sounds unfortunately like a custom tailoring job to me.

msbelle is the bestest mom, Mac. You should be used to that by now.

Hec picked up some Tylenol and it definitely seems to have helped a bit. Tomorrow, though, will be no fun at all -- she missed a sleepover tonight, and tomorrow she'll likely miss an ice skating party. She's too droopy now to do anything but sigh, but tomorrow she should be just better enough to rage over the injustice.

(I agree with her -- Hec and I would have gone to the sleepover too, at my oldest friend's house, and there would've been Miyazaki movies and smores and probably martinis once the kids went down, and it sucks to miss it; missing the skating party sucks; and missing out on the quick side trip we were going to make for coffee with Nanita in between also sucks, and I am severely displeased with her sick for its evil rotten timing.)

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Fucking germs, man. Especially when you're too young to drop the f bomb.

Long day. Haircut, preceded by target and followed by TJs. All with a dizzying headache. The shoulder/neck massage with lavender oil helped a fair bit, but still. Got back in time to swim, but not before Karen went out for the night, so her kitchen tomorrow. She's planning to load the truck Monday and head out Tues, but snow. I'm selfishly hoping for a delay.

Home, manicure, basic attempt at getting laundry picked up. I tend to leave piles. Tidy piles, but piles. And I've got to vacuum and mop tomorrow. And Karen.

And my damned body is revolting on me. The headache, reflux, hormones pulling one of their occasional snafus.

Msbelle, missed all your calls due to not being here or mired in acetone. And now my internet is being really shirty. I think I need to go check plugs, check for ice on the exchange box and possibly reboot the router. But that seems beyond me at the moment. < belch >
