Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't understand this double-name situation, msbelle.

I met a friend and a friend of hers for dinner at a totally inconvenient location selected by someone who didn't show, and we sat at a table for six even though three other people also bailed. It was still fun and delicious!

I'm watching stuff on Netflix that's expiring on February 1st (right now it's Kidnapped, which Dana probably told me to watch 9 years ago since she has a Timothy Hutton thing).

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I did in fact tell everyone to watch Kidnapped nine years ago. It has additional good features besides Timothy Hutton.

Compassionately intolerant

Yeah, I mostly want to lose so I can fit in more cute clothes I have

This is mostly my motivation.

I'm at the end of the first week of my second Whole Life Challenge and have botched it pretty badly. Tomorrow is a new day.

The thing I have continued from the first go-round is the no-processed sugar thing. I'm truly grateful that has worked.

Now, I've got to banish the french fries.

Other than that, I've done pretty well. More cooking is all I really need.

The WLC has offered a pretty cool series called Cooking Boot Camp. This week's edition is about Chef Sense, the skill to cook by eye, feel and smell vs. cleaving to recipes.

The author promises to help me cook 15 different homemade meals in 2 hours. Tomorrow, I'm on it.

That's awesome!

I took my exroommate (who is visiting for the weekend from NJ) to a sample sale for a running-clothing-brand that she really likes--they have one twice a year, and I've gone to the last few FOR her, and bought her stuff (and bought me stuff too). And she's a big fan so got invited to the "presale" tonight instead of having to mob with the peasants in the morning. Which was awesome. The selection tends to be a bit random, but I'd never ever buy their stuff full price, but for $10 a piece it's great!

True, there is a reason I'm on episode 10 of 13. I'm having emotions about Jeremy Sisto's character.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am sampling my Zipz single-serving wines (pinot grigio, pretty good; chardonnay, fine; merlot, not great, but maybe just didn't go with the chocolate since usually merlot is a soliidly reliable varietal; next up, cabernet sauvignon) and eating all the salty snacks I can find. Friday night chez -t.

OMG, Zipz is actually a thing?? And they didn't change the name? I saw them on Shark Tank.
