About pseuds. I have one that I used to use on dating sites but nowhere else.

I used 'beej' here because that is what I was called for many, many years. When I switched to my actual name, I added the fides as both a pun and an expression of my desire to always be sincere and honest.

It never occurred to me to use any other kind of pseud after a good friend of mine, who is a big noise in 'net security, sat me down for the 'hard truths' about life on the internet as he sees them.

Or, it could just be that I don't have that great an imagination when it comes to such things!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Happy Birthday, Andi!

So I have a 1-day streak of flossing going.

Who's gonna grow the rally beard?

I'm trying to decide if I need to take one of the cats to the vet tomorrow. She's obviously had pain in her mouth the last couple of days, but right now she seems totally normal. She would have to be completely knocked out for anyone to actually look at her mouth and I really don't relish the idea of inflicting that trauma on either of us.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It is time for PJs, mac and cheese, and maybe some wine.

That sounds excellent. I have had my quesadilla and flan (the appetizer and dessert from tonight's prix fixe meal - the entree also would definitely have been too much and will be good for either breakfast or lunch tomorrow) and am about to try a "single serve" pinot grigio.

Poor kitty of aurelia. It's so hard to know what they need.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Happy birthday, Andi!

MM, I'm so sorry about your grandmother. Much ~ma to you.

aurelia, maybe see how kitty is doing tomorrow and if she's having any issue eating?

She's been eating, but it takes her longer than usual and she hides under the bed for a few minutes after she finishes.

Thrive to spite them

Steph have you tried a water pik? I have one and havent' been using it every day, but I use it more often than I floss. I'm bad about flossing. I also got one of those old style Y Flossers so it would be easier to floss. Not that I floss as often as I should, which is why I need a periodontal treatment but at least I'm getting better about things.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I love my waterpik, but I just bought some floss sticks too(for the sensitive mouth) and am on approximately day 20, although they were expensive enough that I'm ambivalent about skipping days.

msbelle! I'm not entirely sure what it is you've sent me, but it's delicious! Thank you! (I hope I'm not supposed to be sharing this with anyone, I've already eaten a quarter of it straight from the pan.)
