My mom has pointed to stuff "Chica" wrote online and been like "That girl quotes David Simon too...you should call her." and it's like "That's me."
That's awesome.
Lunch was very good, but on the way back TAL was on (the story about a cloned bull) and my co-worker whose daughter is in the ICU with burns was waiting for HR so I chatted with her a bit and now I would much rather lie down and cry then work.
But I will work. Just had to get that out somewhere.
I remember someone recommending me a "really good" fanfic once and I happily told her it was mine. Forgetting we were in public, she shrieked "That was the best blowjob I ever read!" and all the little old ladies having lunch stared and stared. And we fell down laughing.

That's adorable.
I used this name on TT as well, because I figured that I just needed a name that SOUNDED like a real name.
Wait. We don't have to use our real names anymore?
Wow, Trivia Crack is aptly named.

So your mother is trying to fix you up with yourself?
As far as I know, I am the only Ginger Mylastname in the history of the planet. There's something about pseuds that feels awkward to me, which leads me into confusion when I try to sign up for something and every possible variation other than my full name is taken.
Happy birthday, WS!
Its a FB game where you answer trivia questions and try to beat your friends. My cousin messaged me the other day begging me to play. It took me twenty minutes to figure out where my game requests were so that I could accept her invitation, but once I found it, its great fun.
I've been in Hold Hell for over 45 minutes, but at least I've got my checkbook balanced and my bills paid, so that's something, right?
I use my (old) real initials here and my real name on FB, but everywhere else I am zmayhem (except Twitter, where someone else had taken it (apparently someone or something corporate who hasn't used it since 2012 -- grr, annoying, and a big part of why I mostly ignore Twitter)).
It's nice to have a gender-neutral pseud when wading into newspaper and magazine comment sections. Also entertaining, since I don't bother to hide my gender in the content of my actual comments (I don't announce it, but if it's relevant to the comment then I don't hesitate to use it, and my femaleness is blazingly obvious to anyone who bothers to read my comment history) but half the other commenters persistently misgender me (not on TLo or slacktivist, but always on the news sites, which is fine by me as they tend to be very surly and I'm not keen on rape threats).
