I like to floss while watching TV after dinner. People who do not live alone probably shouldn't do that, though.
Stakeholders include investors, but is a broader category. Anyone who has an interest in the thing. Can be investors, members of a community affected by the thing, customers, end users, employees, etc.

I need to see in the mirror to floss properly (though perhaps if I do it enough, I'll become adept enough to do it without a mirror).

Okay, that makes sense. In brenda's case, I was wondering in what circumstance an investor would work with teams (or not, since the teams refused to work with her). But as a broader term I get it.
If I ever go back to working for The Man, I am going to need a handbook.
Everyone else's work can just fuck right off. shrift, brenda and Allyson are all kickers of ass and takers of names and have proven themselves so many many times, and the imprecations being dumped on their heads are utter BULLSHIT.
{{{Amy}}} I've also been thinking of you and vibing toward you so much lately.
(eta: fix a bad verb)
I am not super up on some corporate terms, so, in this scenario, what is a stakeholder?
In my experience, these are key people on a project or within your organization who either can help you get something done or block a thing from happening. I sense this stakeholder is a cockblock.

Those bits of floss on handles are incredibly useful. You don't have to try and get all your fingers into your mouth.
Callaluna, glad to hear good news about your mom.
I admit I am one of those people who really wants to always be right (like, the question "Would you rather be right, or would you rather be happy?" is a no-brainer for me [uh, I am that jerk who would rather be right, because being right MAKES me happy]).
Once again I am led to suspect that you and I are somehow twins.
This came up on the Google hangout the other day. I tend to not think of people in their board names much anymore. Some people it is still all I know, but with Facebook I know most real names and that is how I think of most you. Doubly so if I have met you. Others said they think of us in board names. What say you?
I tend to think of people by the name I first knew them by, unless they no longer use that name. There are still several people here that I don't know/remember their real names. Also, I've known so many people who changed their first names in RL -- I did it myself -- so I'm used to keeping multiple names for the same person in my head.
at this point, I've answered to Sail in person for long enough among Buffistas that I feel it's more my identity than Ellen is.
That's how I feel about "Zen"! I'll probably remain Zenkitty because I like being called Zen. Also, there are lots of Elizabeths. I'll happily answer to Zen in RL and on FB.
askye, I always read your board name as "ask ye". Skye is a pretty name.
Ugh, brenda and shrift, I'm sorry your work situations are sucking so bad right now. I hope you can both GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT and find better jobs where you are appreciated.
Amy, thanks for checking in. I hope the difficult times start getting sorted out and you can use this time apart to get clear on things.
Allyson, that is unfair and wrong. I'm so sorry.
of course you can floss in the morning -- you can floss whenever. The general idea is to get the bacteria out from the gumline and also to stimulate the gums, and you can do that whenever.
My hygienist told me it takes six hours for the bacteria to start doing damage, so ideally one should floss within six hours of eating anything. Ideally.

I mean, I get the general feel-good idea behind "Would you rather by right or would you rather be happy?" -- it's better to let some arguments go and stop fighting for the sake of smoothed feathers. I get that. I won't fight to the death over whether sushi is good, because that's a subjective thing and I don't need to be "right" about it. (Also, anyone who doesn't think it's good means more sushi for me, so yay.)
But I am a dick who will not let it go if someone, say, INSISTS the first line of Moby Dick is "They call me Ishmael." NO THE FUCK IT IS NOT. I'll argue that even though I don't like the book BECAUSE IT IS PROVABLY WRONG.
And yet, I'm not so much of a dick that I correct grammar/spelling on Facebook. That's not cool, because it's so public.
So I am a dick, far too often, but not 100% a dick.

I think I need to accept that I won't floss at night, ever, and try the morning thing. Working from home means I do have some leeway, time-wise, in that I'm not rushing to get out the door on time, so I can eat my oatmeal, drink my coffee, and then go brush and floss before I get back into my work. So this is my plan, because I do want to keep the teeth I have left.
Not 100% a dick is the standard we are all striving for, Tep.
I want to go home and pull the covers over my head.
