Arts Fest is going on this week here, which looks like it'll be fun, though also a parking nightmare. Christine Lavin and Don White are going to be playing, and there's a photography exhibition, and a bunch of different music things. The local high school drama group got selected to represent Pennsylvania at a thing of American high school groups at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, so they're going to be performing something to raise money for their airfare and stuff.

Readercon for me this weekend! I go to pick up a friend from the train at 4 and drive her up to the hotel, so goodness starts early!
We've gone a week without hot water, but it was during the summer after a hurricane and "cold" showers was just fine. Cold water in Florida is not cold.
I'm missing Readercon (and various silly shuttle rides with Theo) but I get HPF back late Friday and I wouldn't miss that pickup for the world. We've been getting some pretty sad letters, but yesterday, they seem to have turned a corner... So hoping she's having a good time.
Aww, I hope HPF has good things to tell you. I sent a postcard from SJI.
Whoops, just startled the hell out of Maria. Hopefully coffee will make a good peace offering.
And, because I needed coffee before I knew what day it was: Happy Birthday, Sox!
Many happy returns, Sox!
I went bed early and slept soundly and still am so tired. Do not like. Well, would like fine if I could take the day off and sleep, actually, but that's not happening today.
