I want to root for the Ravens because Poe, colors! but the Ray Lewis and wife puncher kinda sour it all. Orioles at least are moderately more nice.

I "root" for the Steelers from old Steel Curtain days nostalgia. I have no idea who is on the team. For all I know, it's still Franco Harris, Terry Bradshaw, Jack Lambert, and Mean Joe Greene. (Yes, I know they've all moved on) And I never liked Jack Lambert because my college freshman roommate bragged all the time about sleeping with him once.

I got Will (husband-shaped person) a Melitta cone at the beginning of the month and it is working out great. I actually got a set of 2 so we could each have a cup, or he and his mom could each have a cup, without having to store a big drip maker or go through a whole French press pot. He doesn't really like the French press coffee anyway. The Melitta is perfect.
Jilli, get the electric kettle, or request it as a gift. Such a worthwhile purchase.
I only seem to like herbal teas, fruity teas, or spicy teas - peppermint, ginger, chai, orange spice, pomegranate. I'm never very happy with a black or green tea. I did get some loose leaf chocolate mint for Christmas. Now I just need to get an infuser.
I can't burn it.My father-in-law put a brand new electric kettle on... On the stove. And thusly ruined it.
