Oh, Chikat. So hard.
A friend insisted on knowing "what was up with me" this afternoon, and wouldn't accept "I lost a friend." Do I know him? Or her? Is she local? Where do you know her from?
Guys, I had to explain ita. And yes, the board, which is hard but doable. But ita, NSM.
Kat, and helpful others, I was looking at the top of the page here, where the quote is. I see no link or button there. Nor is there one in the sidebar, just Buf links and Buf filk, plus the FAQ, how-to, etiquette, map (which works now, thanks!), about, and admins. Which, you know, I can find the dive, it's just she said button, and there's no button--reportage, not complaint.
We listen to a lot of comedy and/or political podcasts:
Smartest Man in the World (Greg Proops)
The Bugle (John Oliver)
Mike and Tom Eat Snacks (Michael Ian Black and Tom Cavanagh--HILARIOUS)
On The Media (PBS)
Professor Blastoff (Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan--THE BEST)
WTF (Marc Maron)
Judge John Hodgman
Dana Gould's Podcast
I keep remembering ita reporting in along her drive from Michigan to LA. One of the highlight stops was the accursed Precious Moments headquarters and museum. She took pictures and made us look at them of the hideous PM fountain in front of the place! So mean. So ita.
Holy shit, Bev, I was just thinking about the PM visit today. I was trying to find the photos.
There are a couple on p.12 in her serenada flickr. If you haven't looked there yet, gird well. It's tough going through them.
Kiba, I'm sorry but I missed what you're going to be studying
Library science. I've already got a Master's in it. It was so much fun I'm going back for the PhD.
I just started listening to Compulsory
Yay Kim Werker! She's my hero!
ChiKat, I'm so sorry. That's more than rough.
Oh, God, sara. I can never unsee that.
What, not one peeing cherub?
