Before I left for work, I had my phone in my hand pretty much constantly, but when I got in the car it wasn't in the pocket where I expected it to be, or my purse, so I figured I'd set it down somewhere and dashed back into the house. Not on the counter, not in my robe pocket, no on the couch, not on the bed. OK, use the Find My Phone app...it's in my pocket. The left one instead of the right one, but still in my jeans. Sigh.
This once happened to me (without the car or purse part). And even with the Find My Phone app beeping away, I still couldn't fine it, as I couldn't figure out what direction the beeping was coming from. Finally I realized the direction the beeping came from seemed to depend on what direction I was facing, at which point it finally dawned on me....
