In regard to the office civility ... we have a (minor) problem that people refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher. Really? there are TWO dishwashers in the kitchen, all you have to do is open the door, put your cup/glass/whatever in and close it. Closing it is kind of optional. Also, most have never figured out how to turn off the heater under the coffee pot when they take the last cup.
And, an article, Google Got It Wrong.
Yay Calli!
Flea, is the heat not working or just can't xope with how cold it is or what?
Yay Calli! But what a roller coaster!
Timelies all!
Too cold here for my taste, but at least I don't have to be out in it much.
I have no idea. The heat is often slow to adjust to temp changes, but it usually catches up in 1 day. It was 50 on Monday, but 15 Tuesday, but it's MUCH colder inside Wednesday than it was Tuesday.
The possible only upside to the terrorist attack in Paris is the lovely swearing in French on twitter. I just read someone suggesting "le Prix Nobel pour la connerie" [Nobel Prize in assholery] for Donald Trump.
Jesse, I submitted a photo for Good Stuff that might create an event horizon for some buffistas.
Ahahaha! I'm going to post it tonight! Thanks.
Good one, Calli!
Good luck, ita.
Holy shitballs people. I just talked to my dad and he is willing to co-sign on a house loan with me if I can figure out the down payment. Which I don't have. But the fact that he is willing is HUGE.
I know I can pull from my 401k for buying my first home. While I have bought two houses before, KCD had always been the first name on the note - so do those count?
I'm crazy to even be thinking about this.
Suzi, wow, that's awesome and shows how far you and your dad have come. Do you want to be a homeowner again?
As of October 2012, the IRS defines a first-time homebuyer as someone who has not owned a home for two years prior to the acquisition date, which the IRS recognizes as the day a purchase agreement is signed.
