I have Neti Potted and don't actually feel any better, but I guess it will help in the long run? I'd never done it before; too many unpleasant memories of sniffing salt water up my nose as a kid (my mom's home remedy for stuffy noses). But this wasn't as bad as I had feared. So that's something.

I also have antibiotics and am about to take more Tylenol and crawl into bed. God, I really hope this pain has diminished by tomorrow morning. This is no fun.

Hi folks, didn't mean to be MIA just having a hard time making time for the computer. So not my usual MO but something about taking care of the kids these days leaves me little time for anything else. On the plus side, the kids seem to thrive when I bust my ass for them.

I've seen that with partial and annular eclipses, and loved it! I will have to remember to look for trees or something...I did learn how to mimic the effect on a small scale with interlaced fingers during this last partial, so there's always that.

I wish I'd been able to pay better attention to the 2nd hour of Agent Carter, but drug busts on my front curb tend to distract me.

At least, I assume it was a drug bust. A smallish car, 3 city police cars, and a K9 unit all clustered around the front of my house. The passenger of the car got out with his hands up and walked backwards to the cops, then the driver got out with her hands up and did the same. Then the dog went sniffing around the car, then the cops began poking around the trunk. the last time I looked, they were sorting through a bunch of little bundles on the trunk lid.
