I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Amy and ita, I hope your situations improve quickly.

I just applied for a job where I match the listed skill set and requirements perfectly. And it's in my dream location! I sure hope there isn't an internal candidate gunning for it.

I think I might need to start a fnl rewatch. I never did finish it. Why yes I did fall down a Tim Riggins YouTube hole last night.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Srsly. Of course this coincides with me thinking, I really should do something where I have an opportunity to meet people, because dating might be a good thing.

1) it's a bit like aliens taking over my mind

2) bad role models for dating ahoy

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo, go Calli!

I would think you would be able to test out if any Civility classes, msbelle. Being the nicest and all. It's like your employers don't know you.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'd imagine civility in the workplace relies on a lot of nicety and politeness and use of euphemism. I'd prefer "Don't be an asshole".

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In this case I sorta picture the opposite of civility as cave-person or road-warrior society.

So I'd imagine they'd teach you of the evils of Thunderdome. "Remember, when two enter, two still leave."
