Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw man -- my friends' kid ran away again. He seemed so good yesterday! My mom is out helping them do I don't know what. At least he didn't take the car (again).

....and he's home! That's what I get for delaying posting -- immediate gratification. Poor family.

First day at the desk in a real bra in 2.5 weeks. My shoulders hate me. I need to find new bras. (I stuck mostly to sports bras on vacation.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sam and Ruby's second kiss is, IMO, even hotter than the scorching Sam/Madison: [link] That man's hands undo me. He can kiss anyone he wants and I'll melt. He's the god of manhandling.

I was waiting with bated breath for Kate to slap Sawyer. Yess!

So I've been back on tumblr for less than a week, reblogging like a crazy person (which I am--it stops me from thinking too much about real life), and the most prolific poster on my feed, who I don't know at all, just replied to one of my comments on a reblog of hers, and tagged it with my name.

I'm a bit weirded out, because I reblog her 20 times a day. Who reads all that? I mean, other than me on my fanart blog, but I barely have any followers. She probably has a ton. Hell, she watched an episode of Graham Norton because I mentioned it.

brillig

Facebook pulled the page for the town I grew up in because of the way people were yelling at each other. The big topics were how the local college is taking over the town and what the coal mining was doing to local water and property. Sleepy little Appalachian towns of a few thousand people can get very indignant. Perhaps it was the people bringing each others cousins into it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My hometown's facebook group is having an argument that started at "People should put something heavy on top of the boxes they put out for recycling, so that they don't get blown all over the street when it gets windy," got to "You should care about more important things," took a brief detour through "Censorship! Bad!" and then somehow (and I'm still not entirely sure how this one happened) ended up at "The ancient Romans didn't really invent anything cool -- they stole all their cool stuff from the Greeks." And now it's been about an hour of "You're being stupid -- you should shut up." "If you want this conversation to end, then you should shut up." "You're the one who keeps posting." "No, you are."

I wholeheartedly concur, even if I can't remember anyone kissing outside of SPN by myself.

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

I may have embraced my slothful mandatory vacay too much.
