Thanks again for the birthday wishes.
ita, unless I disremember, happy merry to you as well. And I wish you adequate pain & sleep management, because seriously?!
Amy, all my good thoughts!
I got all of the outside decorations (except 4 big reindeer) in, washed, and put away. I discovered wire breaks in 2 strands of outside lights(that were not used this year), so those to tossed. Wrapped up 3 more strands of outside lights and got them put away. Tossed 5 boxes for lights since I store lights wrapped around these things [link]
Took a break for the end of game, now doing the tree.
Thank you so much to everyone for the good wishes, vibes, and help. Personal thank yous to come, too.
ita, I'm so sorry. Your doctor ... sucks.
ita - I am so sorry.
Amy, thinking good, comforting thoughts your way.
What Sox said. 2015 better shape up already.
I spent the afternoon perusing thousands of fascinating items at the huge flea market out at the old Naval Air Station, which was fun and gave me some ideas for my kitchen, but I didn't buy anything. Now I really need to get my house in order to return to work tomorrow (bah). Laundry and dishes await!
I have no idea how to parse ita’s doctors. I’m so sorry.
Maybe this will make you smile. I’m in grading hell (what, me, procrastinate?), but I am enjoying reading my AP Lit seniors’ synthesis papers connecting a piece of literature to something else that interests them. The one I’m about to read is called "Tony Stark, the Last Time Lord, and the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything: Science Fiction’s Adventures With the God Complex."
The local news is interviewing a woman named Eureka Woods.
Nice, Pix. Wish that was something you could post cause I'm intrigued.
Suzi, it’s seriously one of the best pieces of synthesis I have ever read, and she’s one of those gifted writers who makes even the most complex ideas easy to follow. I pretty much never give a perfect score on a paper, but she earned 100. I wish I could share it with you.
