I realized on NYE that Monday was a day off for me, so I took today as a vacation day. Five days off with nothing to do. Whee! Going to movie this afternoon.

At some point, I need to take down the tree, which I normally do on New Year's Day. I wasn't quite ready to do it, yesterday.

I just took tourists to the Sam Adams brewery, so I'm lurking in Jamaica Plain for a while longer.

Strix, I'm glad you got to stay home! I felt so bad for you, having to leave when you were sick.

I woke up thinking today was Wednesday, for some reason; it took me a minute to figure out that it was Friday and January 2. I don't have to work today, but I should do some work today anyway, just to keep from getting too far behind, since I'm handling my boss's journal as well.

Also, I slept in too long, and now I'm too groggy to focus on house organization. But editing, hey, I can do that in my sleep!

Hey, cleaning and organizing is hard! At least for me.

I took today off and slept in, and now I'm on my way downtown to recycle some electronics and have lunch with aurelia.

It definitely does not feel like a Friday. Possibly in part because I did almost no work on Wednesday, it feels like a Monday instead.

I'm never going to find boots. At this point, all I want to do is try some on for size purposes, but no one has my size.

I got the day off, but only because I came down with brochitis after the family brunch yesterday. I even went to urgent care and have a note and everything. but I'm sick so it doesn't feel like a win.
