Spent the evening at a low-key party with friends, that included some excellent food and discussions.
Now my Uber driver app won't load, so I'm not driving until it works. Le Sigh.

Aha -- it may be that because my drivers' license was out of date (it changed on my birthday) the app was hanging. I had to scan my new license (it was renewed on my birthday) to get it to work!

I am arrived at the park where my Resolution Run 5k is happening. It is super cold. The race does not start for 80 more minutes, but I didn't want to worry about getting a parking space. I may have over estimated the amount of time needed though. Oops. Hoping the amount of clothing in wearing is right--its COLD outside! Gotta turn the car back on and open up the kindle. Made it to about 1215 last night and then slept...party was a bust. Made me feel way more loser than if I'd just planned to hang out alone all night. Sigh.
