I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go msbelle! Woo!

I am full of energy (and sugar) right at the moment. It's too bad I can't go for a run RIGHT NOW but that is not practical. It's one reason I keep bouncing back in here from my spreadsheets, etc.

I'm glad I"m not in billing or sales, with year-end rushes to deal with money-related things. I know Fiscal Years are different from Calendar Years for this very reason, but there are enough small business that use our software that there are probably lots of people wrapping up various accounting things.

Though tech support is seeing a lot of "Crap, I was supposed to get this installed by the end of the year, my boss will kill me."

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It'll be interesting to see how many people show up at the lab tomorrow. I may sneak out early, even if we don't get the official go-ahead to do so.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I survived a trip outside, thanks to a prescription I really needed to pick up. At this rate I may have to stay home tomorrow night.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I haven't been to Beatrix yet, but their menu makes me want one of everything. Let's try it.

Cool. What time works for you? 1pm is my default, but I'm flexible.

1pm is good for me. I'll go put it on my calendar now so I remember I'm supposed to be somewhere.

I left the office early because it was super quiet and made a quick grocery store run. I'm off work until Monday, so I'm thinking it's pajamas, beer, and marathoning television time.

The happiest time of the year!

We haven't gotten official word that tomorrow is a short day, yet, but I am assuming it will be.

Did I come home and go for a run? No, I did not. I guess I still could, but I don't really think that's gonna happen.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I recieved a box of pears for Christmas. So I bought some Gjetost cheese (brown cheese made of goat and cow milk whey), cut up and peeled a very ripe pear, put thin slices of the cheese on top and baked the whole thing at 350 until the cheese melted over the hot pear. So good!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ah, crap. We just found our kitty Greer dead in the basement..after we had noticed a funny chemical smell. We had to call out the FD and open all the windows. They verified that there was some work going on in the neighborhood, and the smell was non-toxic, so Greer just crawled downstairs to die. It must have been yesterday, because I haven't opened the basement door all day.

She was the youngest, I think, of our 4, now 3, cats, and the first dead animal in the house M has dealt with...and one of his classmates died in the last month. He says he's ok, and Greer was the cat he had the least contact with. Poor sweet kitty, I'm sorry I didn't notice you were gone all day.

Poor baby. RIP Greer.
