I recommend that everyone work someplace with the kind of mental health team you'd hope for. I was having a brief chat with one of them, and mentioned my two weeks off, and said "Good for you! Good self-care." THANK YOU.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Just to show, anyone can be civic-minded.
The only problem with taking today off is that I feel like I should also have tomorrow off. Which I don't.
Timelies all!
Haven't been LDB'd yet, but there's still a week to go...
Ugh, I think I didn't get a flu shot last year, because I totally forgot that I almost always feel slightly crappy for a couple of days after I get it. (This is the sort of thing I can't post on FB, because then people reply with "See! This is why I don't get the flu shot! You can't trust it!" When what's happening is I have an immune system that overreacts to everything, NOT that the flu shot is the devil. The slight crappy feeling is well worth being vaccinated.)
You know how many times I've resisted LDB RIckrolling you guys?
INFINITY AND BEYOND.
You know, my across-the-aisle cube neighbor got Rickrolled a few weeks back, and not only was she all flustered that her computer was playing music, she didn't know the song or that Rickrolling was a thing. That made me feel old.
I'm talking to a Canadian on the phone. I did not know they actually say "Yup, you betcha."
It's so cool when it turns out a cliche is real.
Canadians pretty much say everything people think they do. Ask one to say "The moose is loose about the house" sometime.
Oh, the denial! I think I laughed for six years.
Then again, I say "no problem" an awful lot.
she didn't know the song or that Rickrolling was a thing
I thought Rickrolling resurrected the song for a new generation and further.
