'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Much to my amazement, I wasn't LDB'd yesterday, so I'm still wide open. If I listened to commercial radio, my chances would go way up, though.

I only got one run on Instacart yesterday, but at least I didn't screw this one up, and was able to find all the requests without the app shorting out, etc etc. I'm still making a whole lot more money through Uber.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I really enjoyed Serial, but couldn't get into Nightvale. Podcasts are harder since I no longer subway and I have a very short commute. I listened mostly just at work. Something I could not have done 5 months ago when I had all the phone responsibility, nor could I have done without headphones when I was on an open space desk or cubicle at previous jobs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Instacart sounds stressful!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Announcement: SO UNMOTIVATED.

I AM TEPPY!

Seriously, I made a deadline this morning, sort of. Waiting for a source to fact check and get back to me on a quote. And I have to sick kids at home. Bleh.

I went to my physical this morning. My blood pressure is always high at the doctor's office, so I need to start taking my blood pressure more frequently and report back to him.

I'm predicting that I will have no improvement in my numbers because genetics.

Right there with you. t edit And I kind of want to go check it now. Stay tuned.

Aaaaaaand right there with you. My normal-weight dad and my normal-weight brother both have hypertension (we compare drugs to see if any of us are taking the same thing), so it's not really a goddamn surprise that my BP is elevated, too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh. I did not do much work yesterday, but apparently what I did do, I didn't save. Bah.

Update: 111/78. Cool. That's actually on the low side for me, even with meds.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm kind of wary of the Elf on the Shelf ... but seemingly, for Hanukkah (or however you spell it) there's now the Mensch on the Bench.

I don't even know.

But! in news that billy tea will appreciate:Walter the armadillo.

hip deep in pie

My blood pressure is always high at the doctor's office, so I need to start taking my blood pressure more frequently and report back to him.

My Dr. has the nurse do a BP true test with me. They hook me up to the machine, leave alone in a room with the lights dimmed and it takes your blood pressure every 2 minutes for 10 minutes. Then use the average as their measure. My numbers are always much lower than at any other time. (I'm already on meds to manage my blood pressure, and knowing my family history, probably will always.)
