I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

msbelle and mac are both the best at maturity today!

Ugh, lisah, that sounds really hard. I hope you can find some resolution. The Serial listening get together sounds great, though.

I am starting to suspect that all the wreaths at work are allergy triggers. Benadryl and bed for me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Just looked it up and now I want one, but may have to make do with what I can find around the house. There may be a microwavable heating pad somewhere.

I'm assuming a hot rice wrap is like what I have---a long skinny pillow thing filled with rice that you stick in the microwave and then wrap around my shoulders.

Can you put rice in a sock or something for a similar effect?

Bah. I got soaked on the way home from work: massive rainstorm, and my jeans and feet got wet, so I stopped for wonton soup and potstickers at the Chinese place around the corner. I may bitch about my neighborhood sometimes (so tired of the drug-dealers parking in front of my driveway), but I love that I can walk to good pizza, grocery store, barbecue, Chinese, & Cambodian. And a bus into the financial district.

Anyway, brava on everyone who is Adulting today. Well done, all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I adulted too! I finally found my citizenship docs and uploaded them to CoveredCA.com. You born citizens have it easy. As well as the organised people.

Well, they're in a bright red clearly marked folder now--but I have so much old documentation to dispose of, and it will take forever to shred and move downstairs. That worries me.

I didn't do much today. But I did go to Target and spend the obligatory $100, including some for me and some for my sister's foster kid. Christmas shopping is getting close to done...

Bummer given that I don't have *that many* vices, not enough to just go losing one of them.

I feel you, Burrell. I had to give up on red wine, and through trial and error learned that it's best if I stick to Vinho Verde or Pinot Grigio with white. I keep thinking about making a spreadsheet to track my adventures in things I can't consume anymore.
