The recipe calls for mint extract, but the store only had peppermint - my hunch is that peppermint will be fine. What do you all think?
Yeah, especially for The Holidays, I think you'd want peppermint. Relatedly, I have to go home tonight and make chocolate peppermint cupcakes for a potluck now I can't even go to! Bah.

I used to have "The Raven" memorized, but I really am one of those people who needs something set to a tune to always remember it. Schoolhouse Rock was perfect for me.
The Raven is a really long and difficult poem to memorize, I applaud you. I could never remember more than the first stanza and the last.
