I'm back from the Catskills! As ever, the family was great, plus my dear cousin and her husband and daughter are here on a college visit for the next two days, so I'll have some tourist-time with them, if the weather holds up.
So glad to be home, even if it's a steambath here, with thunderstorms bearing down on us.

Yeah, thunder cut my swim to 20 laps ( is about a third of the usual.) Unstable enough it seemed unlikely to be worth trying to wait it out- proved to be true the last hour or so.
More of the same tomorrow and the Friday I have to deal with the water nazis in the morning.
I'm not hungry, but I ought to eat....

I am regretting all the sugar I ate today. Our staff meeting was scheduled for lunch time and we ended up with, like, 5 desserts somehow. All delicious, of course. But now I feel kind of crappy and am choosing to blame the sugar.

The sinus and ear pain that's been bothering me for the past few days now seems to be turning into a migraine. The noise from the air conditioner is really aggravating it, as is the sun coming through the window, but I can't turn off the air conditioner or close the blinds, because it's 90 degrees, and closing the blinds would cover the air conditioner.
