ION, I might have a problem. I am apparently developing the hots for my office boyfriend. Oops. Remind me not to hit on him in any of the upcoming social events?

Why? Is he married?

Kittens are to blame for lots of things (today the kittens seemed to decide that "Claws are FUN!" and kept trying to climb me. They're a little too heavy for that, or for the amount of clothes I was wearing).

I hope SF gets all the rain it needs? Or can handle? Or whatever?

oes Forever belong in Boxed Set, or Procedurals? I think that Boxed genre trumps Procedural because....well, it's my reflexive reaction.

I'm not even sure what the difference is, but I don't go in either thread. Maybe I should!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I'd say, given that either magic or science so far beyond ours as to be indistinguisable from magic is a key continuing plot device, boxed set is a good call.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's what I thought about Person of Interest, so I thought it best to ask.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why? Is he married?

No, just inappropriate.

I so miss the days of having a "work boyfriend" (my last one was a woman, but whatever.) I have to get out of this place. The people are nice, but everyone is so afraid of admin it's hard to be accepted unless you've been here 10 years. Also, nobody gets my sense of humor.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not only do I miss having a work boyfriend. I miss having anyone at my workplace that I look forward to seeing. Also as I have said else where, I miss having even the most casual interaction with anyone I find attractive. I am way too much of a homebody. Unless dunkin hires a cutie, I am pretty much out of luck.

Amen, sister.

I am in the office today, even got here before 7. Wish I had brought my anti-anxiety meds with me. I'm ok for now. We will see. I'm pushing the envelope here.

I am having flashbacks to the manager of the Dunkin's from when I worked at the bank in high school. He was hottt. Married, but still! He always brightened up the day when he came in with his deposit.
