No issues. Thanks for the tip on hydration! And I also took tons and tons of Advil. Shrift had some dizziness on Cotopaxi so we didn't go quite as high as we might've, but nothing too bad.
ETA we did get to about 15,500.

That sounds positively amazing, brenda!
Bitch Capybara could be a good band name.
Oh my goodness- so many animals I can be ok with no sloths!

Well done! I felt like we were visiting another planet up there.
So cool! I'll be looking for pictures and tales of adventure.
Wow, brenda, that sounds so amazing!
I am freaking exhausted this morning. I got home late after dinner with Stephanie and Maria, but then I couldn't sleep. Caffiene isn't helping at all. I feel betrayed.
Yay Brenda and shrift! Yay buffistas dinners!
It was apparently 92 here yesterday, which is bizarre. Today is in the 80s they say. While a fan cooled my room down plenty overnight, I'm thinking my 4th floor loft office is not the place to work today. The library has AC but will likely be packed.
Welcome home, brenda and shrift! It sounds like a fantastic trip!
Today's minor problem: The sole lining thing of these shoes came unstuck, so it gets wrinkly and annoying as I walk. So I put insoles in, and now the shoes are too tight. It seems dumb to pull out the lining altogether, but maybe that would help?
I have glued insoles back in before. Only thing, you can't put the glue all over, or in a continuous line, or the sole won't be able to bend and it'll pull out again. Try just putting dots of glue in the places it's pulled loose, and wear it to press the glue til it dries (if you can without gluing your foot in!).
I am wiped out. Seeing the psychiatrist and the shopping and then waiting at TWO pharmacies and still didn't get two of my scripts filled, and it's 96 degrees out. Now I'm sitting in my nice dimly-lit cool den in my underwear trying to grow some spoons.
Wow brenda, that sounds like an amazing trip!
Were waiting for rounds and then discharge. Should be quick, but with what I know it still means hours.
Yay for good recovery, and yes, my experience with "quick" in hospital terms matches up with yours.
after dinner with Stephanie and Maria
Yay for f2f dinners!
And meara, I would think the positive response f2f trumps a little delay in getting back to you, in terms of signs of interest. It might be revealing of her personality. I say that as a person who is warm and open but also easily distracted and forgetful (and perhaps prone to not replying in a timely manner for whatever lame reason), so no judgement.
