Craft market fail. Saw plenty I would like, but NSM buying for me. Oh well, I tried.

Hah, see, I also went to a big craft market this morning, but was proud I managed to NOT buy anything for me! Sadly didn't find much I was willing to buy for others, either (some things that were cute, but not cute enough or sure enough they'd like it to be the bulk of my present, which it would have to be at the price, so...).
I'm hitting the craft market at the waterfront this afternoon. neither looking for anything in particular nor trying not to buy for myself. Mostly going to see if it's a different crowd of vendors from the Wine&Chocolate Fest
I am hoping that some of the local churches have holiday bake sale type things going on tomorrow because I really don't want to make cookies, but I want to be able to give some to neighbors. Seems like that should be possible.
Oh, anyone help with age-appropriate books for a three year old? I have n idea what awesome picture books there are out there these days. I figure I'll get her some books and a stuffed animal or something...
meara, anything by Mo Willems. "We Are In A Book" and "There Is A Bird On Your Head" are particular favorites of mine from the Elephant and Piggie series.
Oh, and "Press Here" and "Mix It Up" by Henri something are great interactive read-aloud books.
Aweosme, thanks!
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a fun book. And Sandra Boyton books are really fun. She has regular books and then there are books of songs iwth cds, fun and silly songs that are done by musicians like Alison Krause, the Bacon brothers, Weird Al and others.
I have so much paperwork and tests to do before my side is over. I was supposed to get it all done Friday, but dilaudid day. I did most of it this morning at 4--all that remains is the direct deposit slips (would be easier if I kept them together somewhere) and the urine test. So today is experimenting peeing on demand.
And! I have lunch scheduled Monday in Culver City with JonRog at a place "he has the run of" so that'll be nice to do. Even if Colin can't make it.
