Will rabbits wear collars?
I saw some wild baby bunnies last night, out behind the patio of the private restaurant room that we had the party in. It was as swanky as you could want.
Today I'm getting a ride back to Boston with my cousin's family. Her daughter is going to Tufts in the fall, so they're checking out the dorm where she'll be and signing her up for stuff and so on. So I've got some more Family Time ahead of me, which is good.
We have wild rabbits around my apartment. As well as deer, foxes, woodchucks, and hawks. Sometimes it's hard to believe I live in town. Then I hear sirens.
Today's minor problem: The sole lining thing of these shoes came unstuck, so it gets wrinkly and annoying as I walk. So I put insoles in, and now the shoes are too tight. It seems dumb to pull out the lining altogether, but maybe that would help?
I just saw this now, so apologies for the delay:
I told them I had to do things for Hubby while he was in the hospital. Me getting a break is a thing Hubby would want me to do.
Connie, he also
needs
you to get a break. You need all the spoons you can get right now so you can go through your ordinary routine
and
take care of him as well.
And I'll see if I can get Arthur to stay home over the next few days....
I never know what to do with that situation, Jesse, but I think the insoles squish down eventually?
Not even trying to exercise before work today. I already miss it, but not enough time. And our staff meeting will be through lunch time. Sigh. Hope I can pull myself together for an evening run.
Shrift and I are back. Gronk.
brenda, was it fantastic?!
Back in the PICU with Grace. She handled surgery yesterday like a champ. When I walked in at 6:00 AM, she was watching Wimbledon. Wha?
When I was growing up, we had pet rabbits. The Fatal Attraction happened and bunnies freaked me out. Anyway, we had collars on ours plus harnesses because they liked going for walks.
I ordered harnesses and leashes for these two last night. I don't think they'll be crazy about the part where they are still on a leash, but they'll probably like being outside without a fence. Also ordered additional "fencing" so I can give them a little more room inside (actually rabbit proofing the living room is a bigger job than I am going to be able to tackle anytime soon what with all the cables and whatnot lying around)
Aw, Grace. Wimbledon almost makes intuitive sense to me for morning after surgery.
