Actually my superpower is very very quickly absorbing and synthesizing information. Saying that politely in a cover letter is perhaps tricky.
That seems like a pretty straightforward thing to say in a cover letter! You can talk about different contexts in which you've worked, and how you quickly absorbed and synthesized the information there.
Servatii at Court and Walnut. There was apparently a lot of smoke, so the pastries are, um, toast.
How's the new job, Gud?
The new job is going well so far. It's a newly-formed team and the project is a complete software rewrite from scratch so there's a lot of work.
I think I'm going to need a new vacuum soon. It just doesn't suck as well anymore. I've replaced the belts, will give it a good cleaning, but....
Are you sure that it just doesn't need a new bag/filter?
Ugh, that reminds me that my vacuum smelled like burning the last time I used it.
Bagless. And I cleaned the filters awhile back.
I probably need to clean my vacuum's filter, but I lost the manual and I don't know how. The Internet could help with that, I guess. That's what the burning smell is, right? Dirty filter?
Sometimes I marvel that I've managed to live this long.
These problems do not arise if you just stop vacuuming. The tumbleweeds of pet hair do arise, but there are trade-offs in any strategy.
