I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good for you, Connie, enjoy your break.

Good luck, Calli!

Since I took an hour for lunch I guess I only stayed an extra hour at work (rather than the extra 1.5 hours it feels like) but good lord am I tired. Doesn't help that the last thing I finished up I sent off and basically got told "Oh, yeah, we did as much of that as we needed to hours ago, but thanks for pitching in" so I am highly resentful. Although REALLY I mostly had that project going in the background while I did my regular job so it's truly the reason I worked late. But still.

Now I'm missing/rescheduling meeting up with a friend from college, but I just don't have the spoons. And I need to bake a cake tonight.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

E is done with therapy. 7 years of it, what started out as once a week, at one point included psychiatry visits also, and has been only once a month for the last year. He and the therapist discussed it and went through all the options he has to work out issues and we all signed off that today was his last visit. feels good.

Wow! How great!

Forgot to mention: I managed to go swim during my lunch break. I think I am convinced that I can't do that and also eat lunch, even taking an hour, unfortunately, because that was an excellent way to break up the day otherwise.

Wow, msbelle, that's huge! Go E!

So, girl said to send her a message. Did. She said yes, she'd love to get together, suggested we meet halfway between us (she lives about 90 min away). I gave her my number. She gave me hers. I texted her yesterday afternoon. No response. Do I (a) give up (b) wait (how long) before sending another message? And if so, what should it say?

IDK, meara. Is this an occasion where that "Yo" app might come in handy?

Checked my bills and for the first half of the month everything is actually on autopay except one credit card, but I think I am too tired to deal with that one. It's not due tomorrow, it can wait.

That's terrific, msbelle!

Connie, I hope your day off is quite relaxing.
