This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Nifty. What are chocolate spoons meant to be used for?

Anti-pain~ma, ita. That sounds dreadful.

Enjoying my leftover pie for breakfast and considering a second cup of coffee right now.

we decided that turkey is not really a tasty bird, and that we prefer chicken

Whereas my dad and I had many short conversation on the topic of "Turkey: How so delicious?" Which is good because I have half the bird and a jar of drippings leftover, and my (mostly vegan) parents have most of a pint of gravy and a wee pot of turkey stock made from yesterday's gnawed bones to get through. I do think the heritage bird is significantly tastier than a Butterball, although also significantly more expensive than chicken

I dunno, both the turkey Lori smoked and the dry brine one K made were better than any chicken I've tasted. Which reminds me, must not forget my smoked & unsmoked turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll for my plane trip. Off to brunch soon, but I'll need a dinner time snack somewhere over the southeast.

Drinking/stirring hot chocolate, I assume. It has a round bowl, it's very cute. My sister used to use it for baby food, and regularly ran it through the dishwasher.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I never gain implements, just lose them. They're awfully like socks in that regard.

Tangentially, the number of times I lose this fucking Fitbit...

Thanks for the sympathy. I think my muscles have gotten confused about gravity.

I love turkey. Definitely tastier than chicken, and stuffing! Cranberries! Yum. When I worked near a Marie Callendars I ate their turkey lunch tons.

Last Thanksgiving I roasted a couple Cornish hens and they were also delish. Never tasted one before. This year I was scared of my stomach (clearly rightly so) and et fruit, basically.

Every time I have Cornich gamehens I think that I should eat them more often. So tiny (and therefore quick to cook up) and so delicious!

hip deep in pie

Thanksgiving Leftover Nachos.

My local serves Turkey Dinner Poutine.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have leftovers of all the sides that I wanted (stuffing, sweet potatoes [made without marshmallows], mashed taters, cranberry relish, Brussels sprouts, pumpkin pie) -- but no turkey. My cousin smoked 2 turkey breasts, and we ate every last bit. So I either have to cook some chicken to go with my sides (I have chicken in the freezer but not turkey) or just eat sides. And the sides are tasty as hell, but they just need turkey, you know?

I don't think I grabbed any leftover Brussels sprouts. We may have eaten them all at dinner, actually.

As good as Leftover Nachos and Turkey Dinner Poutine sound, I'm going to just chow down on a turkey leg Henry VIII style now. Because I can.

I might have to make the Leftover Nachos, because those would be good even without turkey. Hmmm.

(Tim is camping for the weekend, so I can be as gross as I want. Inside pants, bad TV, and Leftover Nachos! Woo!)
