I'm sitting with Jesse today
As am I.
I'm really restless, jittery, and cranky. No idea why. Maybe the weather? (Crazy high winds here, around 25-30 mph, with gusts of 50 mph, and dropping temperatures.)
I would crack open a beer in the hopes of chilling out, but I've got work to finish that needs all 5 of my brain cells functioning optimally. But later, there is a beer or 2 with my name on them.
Maria, sorry I disappeared on you, but got busy with stuff. Are you going to be up in LA on the 4th or the 5th? You are always welcome to give a call. My 5th is pretty busy, but 4th looks open.
Likewise on the disappearing act. I will be in LA the afternoon of the 3rd and all day on the 4th. My flight leaves early on the 5th. If my boss comes in for the meeting, I will be doing dinner with him on the 3rd; if not, I'm free. Regardless, I'm free on the 4th. Wine? Food? Conversation? Sounds good to me.
This is also a notification to other LA-istas. I'll post in Beep Me when the boss makes up his mind.
Chocolate chip pancakes: Much ~ma to everyone that needs it. The universe really needs to behave itself the last two months of the year.
-t, there may be something draining the battery even when the car is off. You may want to have your mechanic do a load test to figure out what it may be.
I'm jittery too, but that's because the entire West Coast team was just scolded by the boss. I have a feeling it's more about him missing his targets than us failing to perform.
From way back-
Thanks for asking about my snow status! We didn't really have any, but my boss who lives in Buffalo was snowed in for the week.
Last week I was sewing/costiuming. I worked 93 hours last week and I am exhausted, but back at regu;lar job today
Art Prize
That made me think of "Art Crawl!"... and then I looked at your tag. Which is probably why it made me think of "Art Crawl!" (I wish someone would revive that show)
The Washington Post is reporting that the grand jury has come to a decision in the Ferguson case. Press conferences are forthcoming. I'm holding my breath for a peaceful and just outcome, but I'm not hopeful.
93 hours is way too much work!
Thanks, Maria, I was wondering about that but I wouldn't have known what to ask for. Load test.

I thought they weren't announcing it for 48 hours. Unless they really did reach a verdict Friday and waited until today to announce it.
In any case, that's not really relevant. I wish I weren't so cynical, but there really aren't words emphatic enough to describe how shocked I'll be if Wilson is indicted.
There's no announcement on local media yet here in STL.
As I understand, they were going to wait 48 if it were on a weekend, three hours for a weekday.
