The general feeling around the office is that it's embarrassing in general to lose to the US team.

I just started to go to my oncology appointment and discovered that I hadn't quite latched the door and the car battery is dead. They'll probably charge me a cancellation fee, and I'll have to have a separate appointment for my Procrit shot, which adds another $50. Here's an example of the insanity of medical costs. I could give myself the Procrit shot, but as a prescription, it would cost me $150 a shot. If I get the shot during a nurse visit, it's $50 and if I get it during an appointment for something else, there's no additional charge.
Also, I feel like death eating a cracker.
Oy vey, Ginger.
I have a battery charger, but it's 90 degrees out there and thundering. I'm not sure running a wire from the house to the car is a good idea if there's lightning.
Would calling a cab be less than the fee + $50?
Sorry you have to deal with this!
I couldn't have gotten a cab and gotten there on time. Well, maybe I could have if my brain was working at lightning speed, but it's more in giant tortoise mode. I have an appointment next week. Sigh.
Oh, god, Ginger. I wish I was near enough to be able to give you a ride. Or something. Gah.
Yikes, Ginger. I ran into similar-ish results with getting my B-12 shots. In the office along with another appointment, nothing. Special appointment just for the shot with the nurse, charged as an appointment. Plus, I sucked at remembering to schedule the appointments (not life critical). So I have a prescription at home and I'm better at taking it. Crazy making.
Today's pain report - mid-level constant pain. So far no big spasms today but the unrelenting constant crap sucks.
I'm not sure running a wire from the house to the car is a good idea if there's lightning.
Yeah, that sounds like a no. Sorry things are so hard! To you as well, Suzi.
I'm sorry about the pain, Suzi. I hope they can find something that works for you.
I'd be happy to give myself the shot, if it didn't cost $100 more.
I've been fighting the low red blood count, intestinal issues and the never-ending fever for so long. Come on, drugs. Start doing your damn job.
