My Wifi won't let me rename it. It's stuck on FibreOp476. I was just going to name it FibreOz, since the non Fibre network was called Oz.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Mine is, unsurprisingly, Firefly.

I woke up from a dream fragment in which an older woman was being interviewed, and she said, "Things are different now. Fifty years ago, you couldn't have a duck in your room."

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

"Things are different now. Fifty years ago, you couldn't have a duck in your room."

Truer words have never been dream-spoken.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've been trying to get to the post office for a couple of weeks now, but it's hard because I am lazy. And by the time I'm ready to get up and at em on a Saturday, it's time to have lunch with my father, and then by the time I get home, the PO is closed. But I just remembered I'm off Wednesday and Friday next week! Phew.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I drove until I couldn't stand it any more, which seems about right. At least this time, I really wasn't stuck without any fares at any point -- I could still be driving now, but the traffic out there is pretty crazy-making, so I'll take my pittance and rest now.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

One of my neighbors has cribit_shims as their WiFi name. I'm not sure what that means. Most of the others are just the people's names or the default ones.

In theory, I should be covered by Uber's insurance when I'm actually driving, but in practice I'm not going to hold my breath.
