I was prescribed double the dose on the bottle for years. That sounds dreadful, Zen. I'm annoyed by the fact that I can hear my pulse in my ears when my blood count is low, but that's just a minor tell-tale heart sort of annoyance.
My last employer used "professional appearance" to ding the performance ratings of people who were doing a great job but who didn't fit into their narrow Navy code.

Advil (ibuprofen) rule is two hours per 200 mg. So 200 mg every 2 hours, 600 every 6 hours etc.
I usually do 600 mg every 6 hours.
