If you can maybe get an afternoon of transportation, Best Buy takes things for recycling.

Good to know, thanks. I'll have to check that out. I have, like, three computers and a monitor. And an old TiVo.

Evaluating whether you would pack up and move your stuff is probably a good exercise whether you are actually considering a move or not.

Yeah, I won't regret getting rid of this stuff even if a move is not imminent. It's all stuff I've procrastinated on because it's a pain in the ass.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Fingers crossed that it's a good fit, shrift.

Oh aurelia, that's very sweet in a way. Poor guy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm not sure why I still have 3 1/2 floppy disks, you guys.

I would take those off your hands. I still occasionally encounter lighting consoles that use those.

Well, I filled a garbage bag and took it outside immediately, so go team minor accomplishments. Also, hockey went my way tonight. We may be entering another phase of magical thinking where the Hawks win whenever I clean.

I would take those off your hands.

I will not throw them away, then.

I'm watching Jeeves & Wooster. I love when they look at each other and realize they are the most intelligent people in the room. And when Bertie looks at Jeeves with "Of course you have a cunning plan to deal with this, Jeeves" look, and Jeeves smiles slightly with the "Of course I do, sir."

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Yeah, that's always funny. I'd like to live somewhere less hot and less stupid. I love most kinds of cheese, I think.

Those are excellent criteria for a location. I would like to go somewhere less hot and stupid. And with the temperature already at 21 degrees and headed for the teens, I'd like someplace a bit less cold, too. This is late December temperature, not pre-Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I was gonna say. Of course, being here, it's like I'm in Australia and the seasons are flipped. A lot of you are hunkering down and I'm excited about going outside again and having the A/C off.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

whoot! 11 things listed on ebay. That is less than half of the clothes I have, but it is a good start and now I can put this stack out of sight until they sell.

I'm excited about going outside again and having the A/C off.

A pleasant winter is about the best recommendation for Arizona--which is why all the old folks are down there. If I was rich, I'd live in the desert in the winter and Toronto in the summer.
