Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Or check out the Epicurious comments, where no one follows the recipe and is then surprised at what happens.

ita, I would seriously order you stuff to be delivered if you tell me what you want. And also your address.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I went to Mary Chung's and had delicious Chinese/Szechuan food with loud boisterous friends. Between this and the lively kids in the math tutoring, I feel like I'm at my public interaction limit for the week.

And, I did a really nice job of dummying up a Wordpress site for my friend's Humane Society group (the same people with the dog rescue business cards). That should give them a good idea of what is possible with a site upgrade (their site is copyright 2007 and built with Word). At any rate it was nice to take a bunch of off-the-shelf theme components and make them sit up and behave.

Now I have math homework -- well, going through the handout sheet the teacher passed out, because I haven't the faintest idea what the Foil Method for multiplying binomials is.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

First Outside Inside Last, and I hate it, because students memorize it and then get totally screwed up when they don't have an acronym for how to multiply, say, a binomial by a trinomial, and I really wish they'd just teach "multiply each term by each other term."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This planning workshop is making me hate my neighbors. Sigh.

I hope you have gotten some kind of sustenance, ita. I wish I was close enough to bring something by.

November is apparently cow season. Box o' meat is about half veal, half beef, and one pound of ground pork.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, I just came back online and saw your message. Kids are heading to bed, so let me know if you still need someone to run out and get some stuff for you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Polgara saved my bacon, so thanks for offering, guys. I'm drinking the G-ade dilute and it's still incredibly sweet. Not used to it.

We once requested screenshots to use in online training, and the company faxed them over.

That reminded me of a woman I worked with who would literally cut and paste her documents once they'd been printed out. I didn't check for hard returns, but I suspected them.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So glad Polgara was there for you, ita.

And yeah, maybe consider investing in some ensure or something else you know you can tolerate on bad days.

Me, I got home to discover that TNG had not recovered as well as I'd thought from the sedation: poop all over the new carpet in the living room. (WHY not poop all over the kitchen floor, dog?) Which means that tomorrow she spends the day in the garage, poor thing.

Did some networking at a local brewery after work, yay.
