In the drama that is my family life, the oldest child of my parents got busted for shoplifting a bottle of wine. Apparently in between something and something else, he had the leeway to steal another bottle of wine (something about the cops giving him a chance to turn himself in to another police station and posting $60 bail). My poor mother.

I had a phone interview that didn't suck -- such that the guy said "we will get back to you" which sounds hopeful. I could really use a break.
ION, pending my background check (which should be good, I just passed a CORI for volunteering at the high school) I am approved as an Uber driver, which means I might be able to bring in some money, even if not full time. My plan is to drive mostly in the mornings when people have to get to work and such. We'll see how it goes....

My shoulder is borked, but I slept weird on it and my bra did it no favors. And yet, still faster. Slowest lap was faster than my weekend average. Almost squeaked it under 59, even. If I hadn't botched a few turns, would have done it.

It is just getting dark and I just got the DH to take both of the kids out of the house (he lured one out earlier but the other wasn't budging), so now it is just me, a glass of wine, and grading. Even grading looks promising under those circumstances.
