One hour, 5 bags of leaves between my neighbor and I. So much faster as a team. Too bad I can't ask her to help me vacuum and mop.

My mother and I have traded vacuuming for mopping!
So I was just googling several members of a colleague's family, because of Reasons, and dag they have been involved in some scandals and lawsuits! I guess that's what happens when you are rich.
I am well and truly out of coffee now. No more instant in the cupboard, the can of decaf that's been in the freezer for years, finally depleted. I feel like I should really embrace it - continue my only drinking coffee at the office during the week ways and really commit to visiting the local coffee shop and/or Starbucks on the weekend.
Sick days do pose a difficulty, maybe I should keep some instant on hand for emergencies.
That necklace is gorgeous, Jilli.
I definitely have a bit of woo in me, but I'm more along the lines of applying the woo in the direction of long term self-care and maintaining health and vitality, but leaning heavily on good ol' allopathic medicine when I actually get sick.
I just had leftover Indian food for breakfast. So rich, so yum!
What's the purpose of not having coffee in the house, -t? Is it a way to avoid drinking the whole pot by yourself? Because I've noticed that my cup of coffee at home tends to be smaller than the vat o' coffee they sell me at Peets or Starbucks, so for me making sure I don't drink too much coffee involves making it at home and not buying a cup later.
More to get me in the habit of actually leaving the house on the weekend than anything else, really - it's astonishingly easy for me not to. And spend some money supporting a local business I like. I figure if I make it something I have to do for a little while, I'll be more apt to opt for it later on.
I think all my work is done! I sent off my print job, and it's not quite as expensive as I told my boss it would be, and my mom will give me a ride to pick it up. Not that I couldn't have done it myself, but that's nice.
Zenkitty - when I got the Lisopril cough I was switched to Losartan.
I'm expecting he'll switch me to something similar, as well. That's a med that does the same thing as Lisiopril - relax blood vessels - in a different way - blocks a receptor instead of inhibiting production of an enzyme. (IANAD, nor am I Steph.) How have you been doing on it?
I'm willing to do meds AND wacky herb tinctures.
I was thinking of taking hawthorn again, but it's probably pointless. I did for years and never had problems with blood pressure, but that of course proves nothing, and I can't get any meaningful results from experimentation while I'm still taking BP meds.
My branch of woo doesn't embrace the idea that the shiny rocks will have any measurable effect, but they're very pretty to look at. Like this one: [link] I want THAT.
Ooh. I have a thing you might like. Lemme see if I can find the box it's in, somewhere around here.

That would be me, also.
Fall is the season when I'm glad I don't have any deciduous trees on my property. Only pines! All the pretty deciduous trees are my neighbors' lawns to rake.
I was up until about 345AM with this dance convention. Kind of glad it's the last one I'm doing this year--im too damn old for this. Had set my alarm for 1015 but woke up a bunch of times and finally got up at 945. Having breakfast and then to pack up the room/car and...more dancing (mostly watching competitions). Glad I'm not flying anywhere tomorrow, but I think I need to do my self-review for work before tomorrow...
