She likes the sad tragic ones. The slow moving emo ones.
I cried like a big, ol baby. Has she seen Hotarubi no mori e? OMG. TRAGIC and SWEEEEEET. It's super hard to find. Youtube or Vimeo might have it.

Thanks for recommending Owl House. Most enjoyable.
Other animated Disney shows I liked: Amphibia, Big City Greens and Star vs the Forces of Evil, which has the catchiest opening theme ever..its gonna be a little weird, it’s gonna be a little wild! How can I not love a show featuring Dimensional Scissors?
I’m a compulsive credits reader, so I noticed that Big City Greens has lots of women of staff. Writing, story boarding, directing... they are doing it all over at BCG.
ltc likes Owl House and Big City Greens, but her current obsession is Twelve Forever which unfortunately is a one season and done but a really good show. All are huge improvements on Johnny Test.
I just watched the first few episodes of the Animaniacs reboot on Hulu.
It is glorious. Simply glorious.
So am I the only one who saw Soul and wants to talk about it? Because it was clearly in the vein of Inside Out but I really enjoyed it.
Glad to hear someone enjoyed it. I have put off watching it after reading some negative reviews. I might give it a try after all.
I mean, to my eyes there was plenty of Black characters and Black culture on screen, even if the protagonist spends a lot of the movie as an abstract blue figure or a cat. (I'd say Angela Basset as a jazz saxophonist provides enough for a movie and a half, but again, that may just be me.)
NEW ANIME SEASON!!! Hec, is Matilda watching the second season of The Promised Neverland?
