Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've reached Toph in my Avatar rewatch. TOPH.

S2 is the best! So much Azula and Toph!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Season 3 is still my favorite because Suki actually gets to work with the Gaang for awhile.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

TOPH! And Suki being awesome! I love me some Suki. Her flippy business at the Boiling Rock prison is rockstar.

I do wish LOK had given us more on what happened with Sokka and Suki; like, they didn't need to get married off (two childhood-sweetheart marriages was enough), but I think Sokka is hardly even mentioned...

Also really enjoyed She-Ra, although I do think that (spoilers for the finale) Catra's not really redeemed by the end; you don't see any repentance on her part for all the damage she did. She does want to do better going forward, but she doesn't seem to acknowledge how many deaths she was responsible for. And making her behavior just part of her frustrated love for Adora doesn't really address that, I think.

That said, I really enjoyed the show, it was hella fun and the finale was very impressive.

Matilda and I were JUST talking about Suki and Boiling Rock today.

Yes, Suki at Boiling Rock is pure awesomeness and easily vaulted her to my favorite of the non-benders in the show.

Though I'd be hard-pressed to decide between Suki or Asami as the best badass non-bender in the Avatar verse.

ETA: I think I've said this before, but I think I somehow managed to randomly catch all the Suki episodes before I actually took the time to watch the series in earnest and was disappointed to discover she had a much smaller role in the overall series than I thought.

We just finished "The Earth King" in my watch with my son and his reaction to the end of the episode was "Oh, no! Toph got captured!" while my reaction was "Yes, here comes metal bending !"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't know if you need spoiler-font this many years out, but that IS a fantastic moment in the series.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I'm definitely not watching the debate, so I'm here to say that Sterling Archer calling Babou the ocelot a fox-eared asshole is funny every. single. time.

That is a fact.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good lord, we've gone a long stretch without animation commentary.

Last season of Archer! (I haven't watched the last two coma seasons, though I'm especially intrigued by the In Space season.)

Venture Brothers cancelled! (It had a good run and had exhausted its narrative possibilities. Could have had a better conclusion to wrap up.)

Big Mouth - hilarious!

(Can I note here that I've been watching Big Mouth with Matilda? And it's been an oddly positive bonding experience.)
