ltc and I finished watching Gravity Falls together (rewatch in my case), and ltc has never really watched a show that had a series finale before. So, she cried and cried and cried about
everyone going their separate ways
in the finale. I felt so bad.
We're going to start Kim Possible next.
Awwww, poor ltc! I know that feeling. I know Kristen Schaal was pretty sad about not doing Mabel anymore.
I thought Mabel would be her favorite character, but it's actually Grunkle Stan. Although, she has been asking for a grappling hook a lot.
Liv and I are doing an Avatar the Last Airbender rewatch. Ooof.

So good! Matilda plowed through it in a week.
Of course, she'd seen it before and we had the DVD sets, but it'd been a few years and she's now more the age of the protagonists.
What would you say was a good age for Airbender?
It goes sort of dark later on and can be complex. But I'd say 6 or 7.

Matilda was certainly watching by then. I think she only had a couple episodes she found scary (Blood bender, face stealer, Zuko's original Agni Kei).
On the plus side, we all sing "Secret Tunnel" at any mention of "Secrets" or "Tunnels."
Korra was actually a bit more traumatic to her.
Any anime type suggestions that are good for almost 5 year olds? ltc loves the style, but most of the shows are too much for her.

Maybe Ouran Host Club? That was Matilda's first anime love. Low stakes drama with cutie boys.
Totoro, of course. Perfect for that age.
